Partner 18: Comité Régional de la Conchyliculture de Méditerranée

The Comité Régional de la Conchyliculture de Méditerranée was created in its current form in 1991. It ensures the representation of all producers and distributors of shellfish in the Mediterranean Basin of France. The Act of July 27, 2010 for modernization of agriculture and fishing optimizes its operation by articles L 912-6 and following of the rural and maritime fisheries Code.

Key person

Denis Régler has been the CRCPC’s director for more than 15 years. He is also responsible for technical assistance to shellfish farmers in the 3 regions that compose the Mediterranean Basin. He is in close contact with business leaders and hosts numerous technical meetings. He will ensure the dissemination of information at the companies’ level; he will host the regional workshop in the Mediterranean Basin and help to define the relevance of the tools developed by EUROSHELL.
